About R-Sega
ROBOTIC SURGICAL EXCELLENCE IN GYNECOLOGY
Advanced Training Workshop (R-SEGA)
It is the second time this workshop takes place and the event will include hands-on workshops, keynote speeches, and interactive sessions focused on the latest advancements and innovations in robotic technology for gynecological procedure.
This 3-day course is an “All hands on-All the time” manual training experience and is intended to transform a surgeon’s robotic and laparoscopic skill set and offer structured training in complex procedures as well as their potential complications.
Biological Tissue Surgical Simulation Models
(Real Tissue Models) - highly realistic practice on highest fidelity surgical simulation. Participants will be offered attendance in live surgeries on Day 1 of the course.
Our Objectives
Thorough understanding of Robotic Surgery application with extended hands-on sessions in a variety of gynecological surgical procedures.
Upon completion
Participants should be able to apply all concepts fundamental to robotic surgery such as:
-
Robot docking, trocar placement, suturing and knot tying, tissue dissection and troubleshooting potential complications of the above.
-
Familiarize themselves with a variety of techniques, equipment, and approaches.
-
Have performed all procedures on Real Tissue Models – Simulation Training / myomectomy, oophorectomy, hysterectomy, salpingectomy, peritoneal biopsies.
-
Be able to demonstrate safe use of uterine manipulators and understanding of electrosurgical energy.
Meet the Faculty
During the whole workshop experienced GYN robotic and minimally invasive surgeons will proctor all participants.
